Our firm has two purposes: First, it seeks to partner with lower-middle market companies to enhance financial performance, drive growth, and generate strategic value creation through advice and minority equity. Second, it serves as a search fund dedicated to find a single <$25 million sales company to operate. By focusing our talents in a handful of niches within healthcare services and wellness-related services, our firm is able to leverage its passion, industry knowledge, operations and strategy know-how, and financial expertise together. 

Background

Scott Van Duinen founded SRV Ventures and is the Managing Partner. After nearly twenty years of investing and lending to middle market companies, Scott had a strong desire to work more closely with small-cap and emerging growth companies, and to acquire and manage one himself. Prior to starting in this new direction, Scott was a Partner at a leading private equity firm which raised over $1.5 billion. While at that established and successful fund for 14 years, Scott sourced, evaluated, diligence, executed, and monitored numerous investments, many alongside founders and entrepreneurs, and served on the firm's investment committee. He has served on the Boards of eight companies and has been a de facto advisor to half a dozen more enterprises. 

A search fund is comprised of a pool of human and financial capital dedicated to building a successful company by identifying & growing a solid, established, profitable one, albeit small. As such, SRV Ventures seeks to identify retiring business owners considering a transition, in order to complete an acquisition.
